The woman who was struck by Cardi's mic when she hurled it into the crowd at Drai's Nightclub on Saturday ... went to Las Vegas Metro PD the next day to report the incident.
She told police she'd been struck by an item -- the microphone -- thrown from the stage. Of course, the whole incident was captured on cameras during Cardi's show.
Prior to the altercation, Cardi and her DJ had implored the crowd to splash water on her to cool her off in the triple-digit weather -- but obviously, she didn't take kindly to whatever the woman threw later in the show.
The woman who reported the incident to cops was standing next to the drink thrower -- but she claims the mic hit her too. Some video angles seem to show the mic hitting her after it ricocheted off the other fan.

This whole situation is ghetto and yes she’s a bird. Everyone was on her side when the girl threw the water everyone said Cardi was right! I don’t think hitting anyone is ok and the situation just looked weird to me. To hear now that she TOLD them to douse her w water and then threw her mic like the angry bird that she is. She didn’t announce overall it to the whole crowd. 🤷🏽♀️That’s why some Artists won’t interact at all with any fan because what they do or say something for one, for some strange reason almost everyone else thinks that is a green light and privilege extending to them too.
A lot of singers stop saying “I love you”on cds and in concert because crazy stalker fans actually think they are talking specifically to them and take it to far. I think about that actress who was signing autographs and her stalker took it too far, showed up at her house, rang her doorbell and killed her when she answered the door, because he thought she had slighted him. She never even met that fool, he fell in love, then hate with the character she played and thought the character was talking specifically to him. That happened a few years back. How do you do say something to only one person in a crowd of hundreds or thousands. So if I said "Fire" to the person sitting next to me in a movie theatre nobody else should react? Think about that for a second. She's as stupid as you sound if that was her logic.

@12:40 If you tell someone in a public store "your purse open and your wallet fell out" Are you talking to the whole store, or the person that the comment was directed to? Exactly, that's how stupid your comment sounds. You can be in a public place and direct a comment to one singular person. When Usher or Chris Brown or Beyonce says to someone at a concert "come on stage" they are only talking to that person at a concert, same thing as Cardi, the crowd knows not to bumb rush the stage. A public forum but they are talking to a SINGULAR FAN.
