Now Larsa has been awarded half of Scottie's Chicago Bulls pension...
Larsa Pippen has reportedly been awarded some of her ex-husband Scottie Pippen's Chicago Bulls retirement fund.
The couple's divorce was officially finalized in December 2021, following 24 years of marriage and four children together. They first split in 2016 before reconciling and parting ways for good in 2018.
Now, Larsa is set to reap a considerable amount of the money Pippen's retirement account accumulate during their marriage.
The Real Housewives Of Miami star, 48, has been recognized as an 'alternate payee' of Scottie's Chicago Bulls 401k Savings Plan Trust.
The court awarded Larsa 'fifty percent' of whatever was in their account closet to their date of separation. The couple married July 20, 1997 and their official date of separation is recognized as November 3, 2016.
Scottie's retirement plan account was deemed community property of their marital estate.
He was with the Chicago Bulls from 1987 to 1998, before returning briefly from 2003 to 2004.
The amount was to be dispensed to Larsa in a 'cash lump sum' and was to be paid 'as soon as administratively possible following the approval of this order.'
It was signed by a judge on June 16, 2023.
