Shannon Amos shared the news over the weekend that John Amos is no longer in K.C. Amos's care and that the elder abuse investigation is ongoing.

I'm glad because KC is clearly on something and using his father. I hope each of them can work out this mess because in spite of KC's exploitation of his father, he and his sister seem to really love their father. Get some help KC.

The daughter has a full career in corporate, she travels, and isn't dependent on her dad. Therefore, I trust her more because she has her own money and isn't living off of him. She also posted pictures of what the half brother did to his mom and it was really bad if it's true. Basically, while on drugs he allegedly wiped out his mom's money, neglected her, and threw her in a nursing home. She was very frail. John even confronted him about how he treated his mom.So the half sister is just trying to make sure he doesn't do that to the dad they share. She saw how he treated his own mother. Also "caregivers" told her he was now mistreating John. Rapper Willie D should mind his business because even John talked about his son's drug use.
I don't trust the brother because of what came directly out of John Amos' mouth. I also don't understand why the daughter put a GoFund Me up knowing that Mr. Amos has his pride and may not want it? Go Fund Me is for real needs and I believe a man over 65 has access to medicare like my dad who drove a taxi before he retired. My dad was poor but what he paid into S.S. over years allowed him to get medicare when he got old and it covered hospital stays, in home care, nurses, and more. So what is she trying to get that medicare and his monthly SS doesn't cover? Also, don't actors and producers have access to SAG-AFTRA pensions too when they have 10 credits ? The pension max is 8,000 a mo th. I hope after 50 years in the business he has the actors pension? I wouldn't doubt someone stole from him though because he's elderly. He needs a financial guardian from social services.
