This week actor John Amos denied claims by his daughter, Shannon Amos, that he was in the hospital and suffering from elder and financial abuse [click here if you missed that].
Why is the daughter speaking out and not his manager/agent/lawyer? At his age, he should have some sort of representation or POA. Celebrities need to prepare themselves for old age; outline legal paperwork for who can take over for legal/medical/financial decisions should their judgement be impaired. This type of messiness - going back and forth (Jamie Foxx, Wendy Williams included) should not play out on social media smh.
