Over the weekend Sean 'Diddy' Combs was caught on camera telling Busta Rhymes that he and Jermaine Dupri were planning a Verzuz music battle at Madison Square Garden [click here if you missed that].
Not so fast...
From TMZ
Multiple sources connected to the situation relay to TMZ Hip Hop that no Verzuz has been scheduled for now or in the future.
The clip of Diddy speaking to Busta and Fab also appears to be taken out of context as the convo began midway.

@443 That part
Nope, both are hype men at best.
No one was holding their breath for this.
The Versus era is completely over and it would be nothing but a tired money grab.
Ain’t nobody showing up for Bad Boy records.
I have no interest in seeing a verzuz with P. Shitty.
This would be perfect online during covid just playing their records like babyface and teddy riley. Post-covid, in person onstage means they need a concert of A LOT of the songs, artists, and groups they produced showing up on stage. That’s just too much and past verzuz time.
The driest verzuz in all of creation, and the way they mumble we won't be able to understand a thing. Lol
Whatever.
NEXT TOPIC!
I thought they sold versez to a white company anyway so who cares ?
JUST BRING OUT THE TALENTS Already, n we ain't chatting bout none em 2
