In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE from an upcoming episode of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, The Kardashians star, 42, opens up about life raising her four kids she shares with ex Kanye West — daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 5, plus sons Saint, 7, and Psalm, 4.
After host Jay Shetty asks Kardashian what parenting is like for her now, versus what she thought it would be like before she had kids, the SKIMS founder says, "Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn't be like a more true statement."
"So, like, when you're in it, I mean, especially when they're babies and you're feeding ... there's madness going on. It's like full madness," she continues. "It's the best chaos though."
Detailing that "you have no idea what's going on" in the mornings, Kardashian adds, "It's like I always have to do one of my daughter's hair — and it has to be perfect and it has to be a certain way — and then this one needs me to put his shoes on and they all need you. ... It's like full crazy madness, cooking, running around. Like, it's wild."
Continuing to speak candidly about her role as a mother, Kardashian then tells Shetty, 35, that "parenting is the thing that has taught me the most about myself."
"It has been the most challenging thing," she continues. "There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, holy shit, this f---ing tornado in my house. Like, what just happened?"
"You know, with all the moods and the personalities and sometimes they're fighting, and you know, there's no one there," Kardashian adds. "Like, it's [just] me to play good police officer and bad cop."

Besides the fact that she has nannies, she's crying herself to sleep because she's made her kids a business. A business must look perfect to consumers at all times and kids are anything but perfect. Motherhood is hard, but, Kim has the wealth to bypass a lot of those hardships. I mean, she says she cries herself to sleep- whereas most single mothers don't have the luxury of crying or sleeping, because they understand that they have to maintain a certain level of composure in order to get through the day. But Kim is so consumed in her bubble that she couldn't possibly fathom what it's like to work a 40+ hour work week that you hate; unrealistic deadlines and assignments, while juggling daycare, school assignments, extracurricular activities (with no nanny/father/relatives to help) and still be home in time to cook dinner, clean house, laundry and help with school work. Kim doesn't know the mfing definition of "motherhood", let alone what it means to be a single parent. Bish please

Everybody is hitting the nail on the head. Being a single parent is hard (I was raised by one) but she has access to everything that a REAL single parent does not with her long money. Kim sit down, please and never get back up.
Once Kanye said that the Kardashian/Jenner women ignore their sons and focus on their daughters, Kim is doing damage control. Saint made himself clear when he said Kim meant nothing to him in his mother's day message. I believe that little boy. He loves his mom and can't stand her at the same time.

As if she doesn't have a team of nannies doing the hard work. You expect me to believe she does her kids' hair every morning when she doesn't even do her own thanks to her on call hair stylist? Her son was just talking about how rude her is to her and my guess is because she's just a part time parent.
Even with an army of nannies she still got to deal with her own children who are half Kanye, so they may be a bit extra to say the least. I believe her. And if I saw her, as a single mom myself, I'd give her a hug.
