Kandi Burruss Nominated for an Emmy Award and a Tony Award
Grammy Award winning songwriter Kandi Burruss has been nominated for an Emmy Award for producing 'La Musica de la Familia' and a Tony Award for producing the Broadway play 'August Wilson's The Piano Lesson...'
In that list of four nominated plays there are three black playwrights: August Wilson, Lorraine Hansberry and Suzan Lori-Parks. Looks like the oppressor isn’t doing much oppressing.

Kandi is going to be an EGOT
Putting her money in the right places.
I know she is thrilled to get the awards and accolades from the oppressors. Congrats.
Annoying.
She said she wanted one. Now that she paid for it. Good luck on your purchase.
She ain’t gonna win none of these awards because her shows weren’t that great. She’s just nominated.
