Ice T admits he feels closer to his youngest daughter Chanel than he does to his other children....
Ice T sat down with Daymond John for "That Momemt with Daymond," and explained,
'Chanel's birth made me wanna live forever. It made me create new goals, ‘cause you got bread, you can start slowing down. But nah, not that new baby, that new baby - and it’s the best gift I could ever get.'
'I think the difference with Chanel and my other kids is I’m very conscious of this baby.'
'Like, I had my daughter when I was in high school, I was ripping and running, so it was presents over presence. I wasn’t there, you know?'
'My son, Ice, happened right when I was becoming Ice-T. You know, I had never been famous before. This was a whole new thing. So I’m distracted by that.'
By contrast, with 'Chanel, I’m comfortable, I’m in a cruise pattern. I was there when Coco was pregnant, I was in the hospital, and Chanel still sleeps in the bed with us. You know, so I’m so much more connected to her than my other kids.'

I wonder why? Maybe because you RAISED Chanel. Whereas with them other kids who RAISED themselves. Sometimes wisdom comes with age.
It's time to spend some time with the other adults. They are still yours and need to take time out for them as well.
Y’all be worried about a gay agenda when we need to be worried about these absentee fathers starting families all over the place.
He sound like Brian McKnight.
I know what them other children is thinking and feeling, and y’all do too!!!
Well now you know who he leaving all his material crap to when he croak.
He should have kept that to himself. Very insensitive to his adult children
All we really want to know is: is y’all still breast feeding that grown @$$ baby?
Inconsiderate.
Wow. That’s a slap in your other children’s face. Hope you don’t need a kidney in the further. Cause you know what them kids gonna say.
Not inconsiderate, factual. He’s probably talked to the other children about this because he seems close to them. Chanel is the first child where he was grown up enough to be a participating father.
Where Darlene @?
I never hear about the older ones.
Ice-T need to take his @$$ and his fam to that island where Doha cat going and disappear with her. J Epstein prolly on that island.
It's true. I've had kids as a teenager, as a struggling college student and as an established career woman. I looked at parenting differently when I finally "made" it. As you get older, you mature, your priorities change and as a result.your younger children reap the benefits. A small example--I balked at my mother for suggesting I breastfeed my firstborn. Fast forward 15 years later and my baby never even knew what formula taste like. I also sacrificed and stayed home her first year where the older ones were in daycare. Of course I love all my kids the same. They just had a different childhood experience depending on what position I was in life when they were born.
I understood what he meant but sometimes words really hurt. He should be able to be comfortable with his adult children at this point in his life as well. Be sincere and genuine about not being there for them when they were kids. The damage is done just repair what relationship you have with them now. You didn’t like their mothers which explains why you weren’t there for them. Now that you’re old of course you’re present in Chanel’s life.
1:34 wow not one child but you had kids as a teen
This is actually not uncommon. He had this baby later in life, which makes you more mindful about everything you do. You're quieter and smarter in your decisions.
1:34 PM. Make sense. Meow.
Save some money up because she will want to look like her mother when she grows up.

Yes, I had my first as a teenager. Despite my rocky start, I graduated college and make a good living now. I'm proud of me. You should be, too.
He pumped and dumped with the first two baby mammas.
I feel sorry for his other kids that I have NEVER seen. Men don't realize how painful it is to let the first kids know they are not as loved or as important. I never knew He had another daughter. That's a pitiful reflection upon his character because many young guys have kids but they don't abandon them. Bottom line is ICE T is like Steve Harvey who likes the kid based on how he likes the relationship he is in with the mom. Now he needs to direct love to the one's he abandoned because I never knew the man had kids and he's been on the red carpet 30 years. How does he have a whole grown daughter we haven't seen but we see this one nonstop? ICE That's disgusting.
Somethings you don't say aloud, especially when you were not a good dad. The Bible is very clear about Fathers not breaking their kids spirits. Ice T is just a simp behind CoCo. He loves CoCo so he loves the child. If he and CoCo split up, he'd dip. Instead of bragging on your new found happiness via Chanel, hows about you gather all of your kids because they aren't too old to be loved. Big dummy.
Love who you love. Feel how you feel. Ice-T jus Ice Teaing.
To each his own, choose a mobile phone choose a tailored suit, a luxury home…….. you wanna be a high roller.
Chanel looks just like him and the other kids should be thankful unless they look like him too.
He brings the other kids out. I’ve seen them.
Y'all trippin. All of his kids and grandson has been on his reality show. His daughter is a super grown 40 something that has her own kids to worry about.

I caught that shade on how the kids look like him. LOLOL
^ Ruff Ruff in the Ice Tea grill.
🎯I just have questions. Coko says she’s still breast feeding this child and she is 7. Ice said this kid still sleeps in the same bed as them and she is again, 7. I don’t have any kids so I’m really not being shady, but is this normal? At 7 for me, my mom was like here’s some cookies and juice and welcome to Sesame Street, Barbies, Bratz dolls, and cartoons. There was none of this sleep in my parents bed or breast feeding. I’m not question Ice and Cocko’s parenting per say, but I’m honestly so confused. 🤷🏽♀️

I remember a while back, Time Magazine (I think) posted a photo of a woman breast feeding, what looked like, a 5-year old; the child was holding her breast, while standing and suckling. Lol it brought a lot of conversations to the forefront about how old is too old to breast feed. I think a lot of parents continue to breast feed past the age of 5, and as old as 7. I also have relatives who continued to sleep in their parents bed until they were at least 10 years old. One thing's for sure, I personally don't think it's appropriate to breast feed past the age of 3-or 5. And I definitely don't think that kids should sleep in their parents bed - ever! Lol even in infancy, experts caution against having babies sleep with you because of attachment issues and the possibility of smothering them. I think all parents should encourage independent sleeping and eating habits.

7 years old and still breastfeeding and sleeping in the parents bed. I call that easy access to the obvious. Especially when Ice T's relationship with his wife is so objectified and sex based. CoCo has made Chanel into a mini-me Barbie doll.
I side eye situations like this big time. Oversexualized women who project that same behavior on their children and the men who love them is a headscratcher of the obvious kind.
I thought he was a pimp, but now he looks like a sucker
Or maybe he's still pimpin?
