Brian tells his side of the story...
In a video message shared on both Instagram and YouTube Brian defends praising Leilani and her children profusely, declaring he loves them and is proud of them and says he will continue praising them, no matter what anyone says.
In sharp contrast Brian said he does not mention his biological children because they are no longer in his life and he does not live in the past. Brian accused his kids of causing irreparable damage to their relationship after posting videos criticizing him online. Brian says he hasn't spoken to any of them since and changed his will the very next day.
Brian also defended naming his new son Brian when he already has a son named Brian and combats misinformation about the lawsuit his daughter filed against him, claiming all she really wanted was money.

Brian, just go away. Keep your money, your name, and your affection. No one wants to hear you disparage your children.
If you never give your kids love and affection, all they is to ask you for money. Be a father to all your kids you helped to bring them into the world. It's your responsibility to reach out and be a dad. Your looking for the easy way out of your responsibility .

When you have to go to all this trouble to explain yourself, it's all ego and self righteousness. Very very sad what he has done to his kids. Richard Williams did the same to his first family. It's unnecessary and wrong to emotionally abandon a child who looks to you for identity, support, love and reassurance. I think why Brian gets so much negative feedback from fans is because a lot of us have been abandoned by a parent too. He's loud and wrong.

Just wow!! I wouldn’t push play if you payed me. The write up is enough. I know I wouldn’t want my children around someone who thinks so little of his own.. But, I am not surprised at all.
If i was his wife, I would take this as him showing me what kind of father my children would have with this man. Unbelievable. And like RKelly, I wanted to marry him when he first came out in the 90s. Well, they both once had beautiful amazingly talented music, and both are now complete trash. I feel sorry for both of their kids.
How petty and ridiculous. If he has the capacity to disown his offspring, this probably isn't the first time he's let them down.
I hope his wife views these and understands that she and her children aren't immune.

I stopped listening to him when I found out that he abused his first wife.That was years ago. I don't like him.
