Jamie Foxx is still in the hospital following news of his medical complication.
PEOPLE has confirmed that the 55-year-old actor is still in a Georgia medical facility, having tests run following the "medical complication" his daughter Corinne Foxx spoke out about last week.
"They are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened," a source told CNN of Foxx's health scare, which occurred Tuesday.
Foxx has been in Atlanta filming his upcoming Netflix movie Back in Action, alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.
The incident did not happen while Foxx was on set, and he was not transported to the hospital by emergency vehicle, PEOPLE confirms.
On Friday, a source told PEOPLE that Foxx was steadily improving as he continues to recover in the hospital.

Welp his daughter wanted privacy but the media is still going to dig and speak on it. We will know soon enough what happened to him but in the meantime I wish him a full recovery.

It's been speculated that he suffered a stroke - but Graham crakkkkas and Republicans act like heart attacks and strokes never existed before pandemic. Hopefully, this is a wake up call for Jamie and other black ppl to take their health more seriously

I didn’t say anything about conspiracy theories. He is in great shape so why would he have a stroke and the doctors can’t figure out why. His daughter and other family members have been quiet and focused on his recovery so it’s possible that it was just that …. speculation. What does him not dating black women have to do with anything? He has plenty of black female friends who love him regardless. That was just petty and ignorant. But people are quick to assume it was drugs or it was the jab as if that isn’t conspiracy thinking.

Stroke isn't about physique, it's based on high blood pressure. If Jamie is under a lot of stress, eating foods that are high in sugar and salt, drinking alcohol, smoking weed, doing cocaine or any other drugs, that can all affect your health. Look at Monica, she is rail thin but suffers from high blood pressure. If Mo didn't take high blood pressure meds, she could be in the same situation as Jamie. We need to stop associating weight with health. I know too many ppl who look thin/fit but lead unhealthy lifestyles. Same for Kevin Samuels; he was drinking red bulls and telling off black women every hour, everyday and he ended up dead from a heart attack. Black men need to get regular checkups

I bet Jamie is cozied up in a cabin somewhere, doing just fine. This could just be a PR stunt for that upcoming movie. Is there any proof that he was actually hospitalized? His daughter's statement is not proof.

Well, I wasn’t aware he was eating like that and doing recreational drugs on a regular which is why I said he seemed to be in pretty good shape. I can see how his job is stressful though but let’s me serious. Most black men aren’t working like he does so I just assumed wrong in his case. I didn’t know Monica has high blood pressure because I don’t follow her like that but thanks for the info.

I think he took some drugs laced with fentanyl and coded on the set and they literally brought him back to life in the hospital. Tryin to keep that clean image of himself to fans so they're tryin to keep all of this a secret . How in the hell is he being treated in the hospital if they dont kno what they're treating him for . If he coded on the set his brain may hav been damaged due to a lack of oxygen and the longer it takes to ressucitate someone the more likely it is that it will result in permanent brain damage
