Avril Lavigne is looking iced out these days ... and the new, flashy jewelry around her neck comes courtesy of her new bf, Tyga.
Eric Mavani, a celebrity jeweler out of New York City, tells TMZ ... Tyga gifted Avril the custom diamond chain Thursday, and the piece is worth $80K.
We're told the bling features 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds and pink sapphires.

Granted the worst financial expert or novice would not recommend spending that kind of money on something that will not hold its value, but let's wait and see if first the stones are real and if they are real they are organic and not made in a lab and lets wait also to see if its just the devaluing of all things Black. the answer will come in both cases in due time if the quality is there and the authenticity is there will the piece be valued for its individuality and cache of novelty based on the significance of the owner of the piece. This may be the last frontier for appropriation, and it will be if this holds it value better for resell and appraisal due to the owner being a punk pop princess and not urban rapper.
Side bar : I don't think the kid he is smart with his money at all.....at all but I question the broke label he was being put in the mix by Bird & Slim for years and they are good at dragging you through the mud and holding things up in everyway possible to facilitate the smallest payout possible just when you need it the most.
