In a recent interview Tamika explains exactly how they did it, and how she found out...
It all started after Xscape singer Tiny's mother, Diane Cottle, found out about a royalty distribution service for recording artists and signed Xscape up to receive checks.
After a particularly large check arrived Tiny's mom called Tamika to congratulate her, but that was the first time Tamika had heard anything about it.
Tiny's mother did some digging and found out Tamika's address at the distribution center had been changed from her address in New York to her mother's address in Atlanta, where LaTocha and Rocky were staying, and that the checks had been cashed through Rocky's bank account with Tameka's signature forged on the back of the checks.

Tiny and Kandi are good friends to have in your life and excellent business partners. LaTocha seems like she'll do anything to keep a piece of man, including robbing her Sis. Her mom sounds like a real winner too (sarcasm).

If the SOL hasn't run out, I'd sue them for fraud. I bet the mom was in on it too, probably the ring leader.
Well, when you can’t get a real man and have no self esteem you will allow a dust bucket to steal from your family. LaTocha and Rocky should be charged for stealing, fraud and embezzlement.

Tameka did follow her pie face sister and even lied on Kandi to support her stabling @zz sister. Family ain’t sh!t. The mother, LaTocha and Rocky need to be locked up!

I would press charges on Rock face Rocky and tell Tiny and Kandi lets get a new/better singer for the group. Cut your ties with her sister and tell the mother to kick rocks if she keeps making trouble. You would be surprised how ppl will change when you show them you are not that weak.

Ron Isley did something like that with a deceased brother's royaĺry checks. That's criminal. I would still report them.

If they didn't claim the money as income and pay taxes on it, they can face charges.
