How are you tired of seeing what is true? The only difference between the two is the movie shows hope. ‘Cause when I look at those runs down communities in real time all I see is despair.
I teared up watching the trailer.. its probably going to be a good movie, I aint gon watch tho...I don't want to cry..its a part where her son see her, and she say,I am not going to mess up this time...that broke me down, eyes watering now as I type.
Yeah I teared up, I'll watch. To the others that are tired... I watch these kinds of movies to build strength to continue my journey or to safely revisit where I've been & give thanks, praise - sort of speak. I identify, maybe not this struggle but THE STRUGGLE. Life is a struggle and sometimes seeing how things can resolve is therapeutic. Adding my 2 ct to this conversation. Thanks

I like her, her husband, and their family. They stick together, have fun, and they make money. And this is the kind of representation I'm here for.
Cried already.
She works.
Okay.... I'm already close to tears and I'm too gangsta for this....I can't wait to see this!
I can't wait to see this! I love Will Cattlett's work.
Im so tired of this type of movies showing black people surrounded by struggle. It's depressing, a cliche, and tiresome. F this movie.
Yall don't get tired of these same presentations?
Looks better and more uplifting than I thought

Looks good. I got teary eyed.
Teyana is so beautiful to me. I think she could pull off a biopic on Grace Jones or even Cicely Tyson.
