RIP Plug 2๐๐พ Dela Soul just won the rights to their music months ago. It was a 10+ year battle that they stood firm on...Their music finally hit streaming platforms & they were getting ready to Tour this year..DAMN! '89 Me, Myself & I๐ถ
Black people especially Black men dying off at an alarming rate and folks wanna make lifestyle changes when it's almost too late. My people: live clean, eat right, stay active, don't fall if you over 50, avoid toxic people and find a way to relieve stress every day.
@9:20 Same here ('68 baby/Class of '86). Just a little over a year ago, I decided to start seeing a licensed practitioner regularly after dealing with a chronic illness. For years, I hated going to the doc like a lot of people but it is paying off.
This hit hard for several reasons. First, Three Feet High and Rising is one of the best hip-hop albums period. The other thing was that I strayed from my diet big time yesterday. My dude wanted Denny's and I got something that should've been called a salt sandwich that I couldn't finish. The minute I got home, I guzzled down a big can of coconut water and almost a liter of regular water. I'm still going to the restroom but I feel better not holding on to all that sodium.
@2:09 I quit adding salt to anything. I use non-sodium spices and ginger & turmeric dishes. Lots of stir fry dishes with tons of veggies. Honestly the last two months I have been horrible, but, I am getting more focused. More water. No drinking and remove soft drinks and back to body armour drinks. 3 Feet High was EPIC. This really was a wakeup for me
