When I purchased my daughter’s LOL Dolls, they put me in the mind of those Bratz Dolls, not the OMG girls…but ok. Good luck I guess 🤷🏽♀️
Imma be honest. I don't see it and I agree it looks like a BRATZ knock off. No one even thinks about that band
they'll just waste their money in legal fees. you're going against a large corporation in a copyright infringement case with regards to art? it's extremely difficult to prove and they will lose.
The law in that area is the wild west anything can happen in these cases I do see a lot of simulatiries and then the name puts it over the top I don't think she will get lotto money out of this but I see at least a partial win for her and a financial set back of some kind for the doll maker. @4:16 & 5:18 its ironic you say that the dolls remind you of the Bratz dolls maybe its an omen of things to come.
The Bratz creator was a Mattel employee who came up with the Bratz concept while he still worked at Mattel after he created the Bratz concept he left Mattel and used his knowledge of the industry to monetize the Bratz concept and Mattel sued him and won. Even though they could not prove he created the concept of Bratz on company time they claimed it was a knock off of a barbie doll and took him to court. They got the win on that one Bratz creator took the L, just goes to show how unpredictable this type of law is adjudicated.
LOL dolls were obviously Bratz knockoffs.
They clearly gained heavy inspiration from the OMG girlz. They even named the dolls OMG. I hope Tiny wins her case and gets every penny
These dolls are offspring of Chucky and his wife, the Bride of Chucky. Nothing to see here folks.
If they feel they’ve been wronged then they gotta do what they gotta do
it's not like this group had mass appeal when they came out, and they weren't together for a long time. also, tiny has the burden to prove that the concept was stolen--no one from their camp worked for MGA entertainment (like the guy who created Bratz was an employee of Mattel, which is why he lost). That's what the judge/jury will be looking for. The company could easily say that they had no knowledge or no connection to the OMG girls, and that this is just a coincidence. These dolls look like other dolls on the market, just miniature.
It's easily harajuku girl fashion. Both entities can't claim the fashion as original.
@5:45 That's what companies do, they target small little known businesses and entities to steal from because they think people won't notice or won't care because they assume people like you will say the small entity doesn't have enough influence to be copied from, and your comment helps these big companies continue to do it.

I hear what you're saying, and there is a probability it was stolen, but the point still remains that Tiny has to PROVE that the company stole their image. She has the burden to prove to the jury that there is something that connects the company to her group, that they more than likely it was stolen. That's how it works in court cases where one entity is accusing the other of stealing a creative concept. It's the reason the Bratz doll company lost because the creator actually worked for Mattel. Tiny has to prove this, not have a hunch.

They were even bold enough to name the doll collection O.M.G. It doesn't take a computer programmer to see that they copied their image, right down to the exact ourfits, and they thought because the group was no longer that no one was gonna notice. I hope Tiny wins her case
