Last week WNBA player Brittney Griner was released from a Russian penal colony in a prisoner swap with arms dealer Viktor Bout [click
here if you missed that].
In her first statement since being released Brittney thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers...

Really glad to see her back
Stay off drugs when you travel.
I can't even imagine the relief that Brittney must feel right now. I saw some of the images, and heard stories about the penalty colony where she was serving her time, and I wouldn't wish that treatment on my worst enemy! I know her fam probably got her some of the best soul food, and biggest blunt, in the state of Texas! I'm so happy she's home and wants to continue to play in the WNBA. Thanks to the Russians, she'll never need to worry about extra cash again. Her book deals, endorsement deals, and her celebrity status as a POW (let's keep it real, she was a pawn that Putin used and manipulated to get what he wanted) - Britt is gonna be goodT!
You go girl!
I saw Britney parents and they are short, how did she get to be so tall??
Happy for her.
^^^^^^^
Now you know she makes black women who haven’t accomplished anything further from their couch feel like crap. Bogged down with student loans, babies from different Ray Rays, taking care of broke family members, stuck being care givers and hospice wives to men who cheated on them most of their time together. Stop acting like they are proud black women with substance. They cap every day. Lol!
@1:39 PM STFU. That is not a representation of any black woman that I know. Speak for yourself.
