Isaiah Washington Claims He Was Sacrificed for Patrick Dempsey

Back in 2007 actor Isaiah Washington was famously cut from the cast of Grey's Anatomy after allegedly referring to another cast member as an f-word during a separate fight with Grey's lead actor Patrick Dempsey [click here if you missed that]. 

Now Isiah is claiming he was actually fired to cover up for Dempsey's bad behavior...

In an appearance on Tavis Smiley's talk radio show Isaiah explained,

“I didn’t know that it would stick to me so hard. But I found out why. It was an agenda to cover up for the toxic and bad behavior of many of my former castmates on that show. And the top of that would be Patrick Dempsey.”
