Turns out her estranged husband Kanye West is the culprit...
According to reports Kanye West was the purchaser of the statue that was seized at a Los Angeles port in June 2016. Apparently Yeezy made the purchase using the 'Noel Roberts Trust' that belongs to his soon to be ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Kim originally claimed to have no knowledge of the purchase, but later discovered that it was made by Kanye as part of a larger art acquisition.
The case is ongoing.
