Donald Trump facing second impeachment after encouraging his stanbase to ransack the Capital Building in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election results...
Last week at his 'March to Save America' rally in Washington, D.C. Donald Trump told his supporters to march to the Capital Building and disrupt the counting of the electoral college votes by the U.S. Congress in a last ditch effort to overturn the election results [click here if you missed that]. The riot that followed caused the deaths of five people, including a Capital Hill police officer who was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher.
Today Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is expected to submit Articles of Impeachment against Trump for insurrection if Vice President Mike Pence refuses her request to enact the 25 Amendment to immediately remove Trump from office.
If impeached Donald Trump will be the only president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.
