T.I. Under Fire For Accepting Apology on Behalf of Couple Discriminated Against in Atlanta

This week Umi Sushi in Atlanta went viral for refusing to serve a Black couple because the husband was were sneakers, despite white people inside the restaurant with sneakers on. 

The couple who were put out calls out rapper T.I. for accepting an apology from Umi without contacting them first...

It all started after the couple uploaded video of the incident where the owner of Umi brags about his high profile Black friends and tells the couple their video won't do any good.

 

Later T.I. sat down with the owner and accepted his apology

And that's when the man who was discriminated against spoke out. 

Later T.I. defended his actions.
