On the 4th of July Kanye West announced he was running for president of the United States in the 2020 election [click here if you missed that].
In an interview with Forbes Magazine Kanye says he's running for president under a new banner called the "Birthday Party," will model Washington after the fictitious nation of Wakanda, admits he has never voted in an election and claims he stopped supporting Donald Trump after hearing he "hid in a bunker."
When posed the question Kanye told Forbes,
“I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.”The interviewer also noted that Kanye signed off on several of their email conversations with "Trump 2020."
