According to reports Escobar Restaurant and Tapas was ordered to close by Georgia Department of Public Safety after violating state COVID19 guidelines by not enforcing social distancing and by having more than 10 patrons per 300 square feet.
Public safety officers showed up at Escobar early May 24 and issued a warning and returned later to shut down the bar after receiving tips that the club was continuing to violate the rules.
