Over the weekend rapper Snoop Dogg was one of many celebrities to chastise Gayle King over the handling of her interview with Lisa Leslie where she questioned Lisa about the late Kobe Bryant's 2003 rape accusation, and then pressed Lisa after she said that was not the Kobe she knew [click here if you missed that].
After Gayle began receiving death threats, Snoop called off the dogs...
In a video posted on Instagram Snoop tells his followers,
"When I said what I said, I spoke for the people who felt like Gayle was very disrespectful towards Kobe Bryant and his family. Now with that being said, what do I look like, wanting some harm to come to a 70-year-old woman? I was raised way better than that. I don’t want no harm to come to her and I didn’t threaten her. All I did was say, ‘Check it out, you outta pocket for what you doing and we watching you. Have a little bit more respect for Vanessa, her babies and Kobe Bryant’s legacy.’”Kobe, who died in a helicopter crash along with his daughter Gianna and 7 others on Jan 26, 2020, has not been buried yet.
