This week Gayle King faced furious backlash for bringing up Kobe Bryant's 2003 rape accusation during an interview with Kobe's long time friend Lisa Leslie.
Now Gayle is accusing her network of causing the controversy by sharing the clip out of context...
In a post on Instagram Gayle says she understands the backlash and claims the clip was a very small part of a long ranging interview and that she felt Lisa's answer, that the media should be respectful at this time, was important. Gayle also accuses her network of blindsiding her with the out of context clip and then telling her not to speak about it.
