Yesterday the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were stepping down from their senior roles in the Royal Family [click here if you missed that].
Apparently Harry and Meg didn't bother to notify the Palace of their plans...
A statement from the Royal Family suggests they were blindsided by the announcement.
Buckingham Palace responded saying:
"Discussions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early stage."
"We understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through."
