Earlier this month rapper T.I. shocked his fans after claiming he accompanies his 18-year-old daughter Deyjah Harris for her annual gynecology exam [click here if you missed that].
T.I. admits he embellished the story and apologizes to his daughter...
In his sit down with Jada Pinkett-Smith on Red Table Talk T.I. admits he had no idea how sensitive a subject he was taking on and claims he remained silent during the firestorm at his daughter's request. T.I. also admitted the only reason he is speaking up now is because Deyjah changed her mind and asked him to shut down the speculation.
T.I. says most of the controversy over his claims were based on false assumptions, namely he never said he was in the exam room, he only went one time when she was 15 or 16, and Deyjah's mother was also present.
T.I. also apologized to his daughter for talking about her private business, but not to any other "weirdos" who had something to say about it. He also claims now that Deyjah is 18 he does not try to control her at all.
