Back in 2009 comedian Mo'Nique famously refused to go to France to promote herself at the Cannes Film Festival without being paid for her break-out performance in the Lee Daniels film 'Precious [click here if you missed that].'
At the time Mo'Nique claimed she refused because she had a talk show to tape on BET, but the show was canceled not long after.
Now we know why...
While guest hosting on TS Madison's The Queens Supreme Court, Flame Monroe claims BET CEO at the time, Debra Lee, unceremoniously pulled the plug on Mo'Nique's show after Mo'Nique roasted Debra during one of her stand up comedy shows.
Monroe claims Mo'Nique came to work the next day and all their belongings including hair, make-up and wardrobe were sitting in the parking lot on dollies.
