Last year comedian Kevin Hart's actor friend JT Jackson was charged with extortion after being accused of threatening to leak Kevin's extra martial sex tape [click here if you missed that].
JT has been cleared in the extortion case...
According to reports the LA District Attorney dropped the extortion charges against JT after it was determined that the threat was merely a comment on Kevin's Instagram saying, "Give me $5 million or I'm releasing the tape."
JT is still facing felony charges for one count of "unauthorized use of personal identifying information" of Kevin Hart with the "purpose of invasion of privacy, international interference with prospective economic advantage, attempted concealing, selling and withholding of stolen property exceeding $950 in value, specifically "surreptitious-recorded images and audio of Kevin Hart knowing the property to be stolen or obtained unlawfully."
