Back in June a judge ruled that a special prosecutor should be appointed to investigate why all 16 charges were dropped against actor Jussie Smollett after he allegedly staged a hate crime hoax in Chicago [click here if you missed that].
The Special Prosecutor has been chosen...
Former U.S. District Attorney Dan Webb has been assigned to Jussie's case and said he will follow where the facts lead and new charges are possible.
Jussie is accused of hiring his personal trainers to attack him on the street and then blaming it on gay hating Donald Trump supporters [click here if you missed that].
