Embattled R&B singer/songwriter R. Kelly facing new sexual abuse charges in Minneapolis...
Today the Hennepin County State’s Attorney announced they were charging R. Kelly with one count of engaging in prostitution with a person under 18 years of age and one count of hiring a person under 18 years of age for sexual purposes stemming from a 2001 incident.
According to reports the victim filed a police report back in January detailing how she met R. Kelly at age 17 after seeking him out for an autograph when he came to town for a concert. The victim claims to have obtained the autograph and R. Kelly's phone number and was summoned to his hotel room later that evening. After arriving the victim claims R. Kelly offered her $200 to dance with him and then disrobed her before having sexual contact. He also gave her front row seats to his show.
