According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Usher is asking a Los Angeles judge to award him $2,500 in sanctions against his accuser and her legal team.
The singer claims that during the deposition of Jane Doe, on June 25, 2019, she refused to answer questions. During the deposition, Usher clearly grilled her about the allegations he gave her the STD.
He is seeking for the judge to order Doe to answer the questions and wants her sanctioned for not giving up the information. Usher says that Doe’s refusals were “based on two objections, both of which are so frivolous as to be sanctionable.”
During the deposition, Doe’s lawyer repeatedly instructed her client not to answer saying it was an invasion of her privacy.
