Last week Empire star Jussie Smollett was attacked near his downtown Chicago apartment in a suspected hate crime [click here if you missed that].
Investigators have located additional surveillance video connected to the case...
According to the newly released police report Jussie was bitten by one of his attackers and was hesitant to report the crime.
Investigators also cleared the two initial persons of interest who turned out to be homeless men.
