Earlier this month Destiny's Child Michelle Williams walked away from her role in the Broadway play 'Once on this Island' after a bad break-up with her fiancé Chad Johnson [click here if you missed that].

According to reports Michelle has been cast as Diana Ross in American Soul, a BET original movie about Don Cornelius the creator of Soul Train.
Bobby Brown, K. Michelle and Kelly Rowland also have guest starring roles.
American Soul premieres Tuesday Feb. 5 on BET.
