Dwight updates fans on his progress...
Dwight Howard says surgery was the only option: "It just wasn't getting better. I was trying literally everything to try and get better, but it just wasn't happening. Got 4, 5 doctors to look at MRIs, look at stuff. ... Trying to find out if it was something that was needed." pic.twitter.com/uYUiPA4sPi— Hoop District (@HoopDistrictDC) December 19, 2018
Dwight Howard is rehabbing at home in Atlanta because: "I know if I would have been around the team after the surgery, I would have want to been out there and play. ... Go home, get your mind right, get your body right and when you return, let's get to that championship." 😲 pic.twitter.com/urrtGPMExM— Hoop District (@HoopDistrictDC) December 19, 2018
Dwight Howard: "I can sit down. I can touch my toes, put my socks on. A lot of stuff I couldn't do before the surgery. It feels good to get that stuff off. I was in a lot of pain. I don't know how I actually played the way I was playing with what was going on with my body." pic.twitter.com/Aor13GCFNt— Hoop District (@HoopDistrictDC) December 19, 2018
