In the interview posted on Youtube Carol Maraj says her daughter's refusal to show up for Jelani in court made the jury believe he was guilty and says there was a lot of misconduct among the jurors.
She also claims the children involved, both the victim and her younger brother who was a witness to the crime, are badly abused by their mother.
