Last week Jay Z was accused of inflating the streaming data for Beyonce and Kanye West albums on his music streaming service Tidal [click here if you missed that].
Jay denies the reports...
A statement from Tidal sent to BBC News reads,
"This is a smear campaign from a publication that once referred to our employee [chief operating officer Lior Tibon] as an 'Israeli intelligence officer' and our owner as a 'crack dealer'."
"We expect nothing less from them than this ridiculous story, lies and falsehoods."
"The information was stolen and manipulated. And we will fight these claims vigorously."
