Apparently the tour almost didn't happen...

“Beyonce doesn’t need any help selling tickets. She can sell out stadiums by herself. There have been many discussions about dumping Jay from the tour.”
“She is all about her fans and when you buy a ticket to see Beyoncé you want to see Beyonce. Now her audience will have to sit through an evening where she is only 50% of the show– the same is true for people who bought tickets to see Jay! But the only person she cares about more than her fans, is her husband. Telling him that he is fired wasn’t a conversation she was willing to have.”
