[Jelani's] attorney, David Schwartz of Garden City, said his client — who’s facing up to life in prison if convicted of the top count — would be acquitted and was looking forward to the trial.
“These are a bunch of lies,” he said of the charges. “There’s a big, big motive to lie here which I can’t get into right now. But these are false accusations.”
Schwartz said Minaj was backing her brother “absolutely, 100 percent. ”
