Actress Yara Shahidi's father, Afshin Shahidi, chronicles his 20 year-friendship with Prince through pictures and words in his new book 'Prince: A Private View.'
Shahidi announced the project on Instagram this week.
Prince: A Private View will be available Oct. 17.
