John Legend is one step away from legendary EGOT status...
On Sunday John Legend won a Tony Award as a producer of the play revival "Jitney" bringing him one step closer to elusive EGOT status of winning an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony.
John currently has 10 Grammy Awards and an Oscar for co-writing the Best Original Song "Glory" from the Martin Luther King jr. biopic "Selma."
Other EGOT winners include Whoopi Goldberg and Rita Moreno and only 12 performers in all.
