Bill Cosby Trial Starts Today
On this day in 1966 Bill Cosby became the first African American to receive an Emmy Award for best actor in a dramatic series for his role on I Spy.

According to reports jury selection began today for Bill Cosby's felony sexual assault trial.
Cosby,78, is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University sports director Andrea Constrand at his Philadelphia home back in 2004.
Constrand filed a civil lawsuit after prosecutors failed to bring charges and the case was settled out of court in 2006.
Charges were filed against Bill Cosby in 2015 after Associated Press reporter Maryclaire Dale filed a motion to unseal depositions from the Constrand case [click here if you missed that].
If convicted Cosby faces up to 10 years in prison.
