According to reports Enrico Taylor pitched his idea for a mobile talent search app to Nick Cannon who agreed to come on board as an investor.
Taylor claims Nick later cut off all communication and five months later launched a nearly identical app to the one he pitched.
Taylor, who created a similar for Cash Money Records CEO Birdman, is seeking $1.7 million damages.
