Earlier this week actress Kerry Washington's husband, retired football player Nnamdi Asomugha, garnered his own Hollywood buzz after screening his new film 'Crown Heights', at the Sundance Film Festival [click here if you missed that].
Nnamdi's film just got picked up...
According to reports Amazon Studios just bought the rights to Crown Heights for $2+ million.
The film, based on actual events, tells the story of a Brooklyn man wrongly convicted of murder and his best friend's 20 year battle to get him released.
Nnamdi produced the film as stars as the best friend.
