Earlier this year Gladys Knight fans were shocked after her son Shanga Hankerson filed a lawsuit claiming his mother was mentally incompetent and not capable of terminating their agreement to allow his use of her name and likeness for his chain of Chicken and Waffles restaurants in Atlanta [click here if you missed that].
The lawsuit has been settled...
Back in August Gladys Knight sued to have her name removed from the Gladys Knight Chicken and Waffles franchise after her son was arrested and charged with money laundering and tax evasion [click here if you missed that].
Now, according to reports, the issue has been settled and Shanga has agreed to remove his mother's name from the franchise and return all memorabilia by January 2017.
