Back in 2014 The Shield actor Michael Jace was arrested for murdering his wife April Jace [click here if you missed that].
Micheal just won a trial delay..
According to reports the trail was delayed this week just two days before jury selection was set to begin after the judge agreed to allow Michael's attorney's time to examine the victim's cell phone.
Michael maintains the killing was an act of passion while the DA believes it was premeditated murder.
Michael attorney's are confident the cellphone will reveal his wife had been having an affair and that Micheal had just found out.
However, insiders warn Michael could get burned if the phone reveals info he may not submitted in court.
