Last month embattled comedian Bill Cosby filed defamation of character lawsuits against Beverly Johnson and seven other women for accusing him of sexual misconduct [click here and here if you missed that].
Now some of the other fifty-some-odd accusers are banding together to raise money to help Beverly and the Cosby Seven pay their legal bills...
One of the accusers tells The Daily Mail
'We plan to set up a crowd funding page to raise the money to help these women and any others that Bill Cosby decides to sue.'
'We think it's the right thing to do and we believe we'll raise a lot of money because there's such national interest in this.'
'We're putting the mechanical pieces together right now and then we hope to use social media to get the message out there.'
'Any money left over will go to a charity that supports rape victims.'
'He'll perhaps restrain himself from such a crazy strategy. Even if he can prove that one of us is lying that doesn't mean that the other 55 are.'
