Yesterday the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified Rihanna's new album 'Anti' with Platinum status just one day after its release.
So why won't the Billboard charts let Rihanna be great...?
As part of a $25 million deal with Samsung Anti became available as a free download on Tidal this week instantly going platinum.
However, a Billboard spokesperson tells Digital Trends,
“Billboard has a well documented policy of not counting free albums towards the charts.”Anti is now available on iTunes and physical copies go on sale Feb 5th.
