While Empire averages 11.5 million viewers Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holidays special only attracted 5.1 million.
The special starred Taraji and Terrence in a series of comedy skits with musical guests Chris Brown, Tank, Patti LaBelle, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx and Jussie Smollett.
