Probation Woes Cost Meek Mill Film Role

Philly rapper Meek Mill had to drop out of a movie produced by Will Smith because of travel restrictions of his probation...

According to Page Six Meek Mill was supposed to star in Will Smith's new film “12 O’Clock Boys” about Baltimore's infamous illegal street bike crew.

Meek was supposed to play the role of “Wheelie Wayne,” but had to be in Philly for a drug test at the same time he was supposed to be in LA for production.

Meek will also miss out on his scheduled New Year's Eve concert in Las Vegas with Nicki Minaj. Insiders tell Page Six the Vegas gig was supposed to be a precursor to a residency for Meek but now it's all up in the air.

Meek is confined to Southeast Philadelphia until his February 6 court hearing after being found guilty of violating his probation by not notifying his parole officer of his travel plans [click here if you missed that].
