On the season 8 premier of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi opened up about her strained relationship with Phaedra explaining,
"Back when Phaedra was pregnant with Mr. President, she wanted to do a workout video, and Todd told her we can do it for you for a fraction of the price. Phaedra didn't release her video. I mean, I guess there was so much stressful things that the DVD went on the back burner for her. Todd doesn't care about the DVD being released, he just wants his final payment."Todd was even more blunt pointing out,
“I don't f--k with you because you shady…shiesty...You didn't pay me my money and you're talking s--t and in my face smiling like it's all good. If you're doing that to us, there's no telling what you'd do to anybody else.”
